On Tuesday January 26th, Arj Barker (You may know him as Dave from Flight of the Concords on HBO) released his first comedy CD titled LYAO, as in laugh your ass off.
I’ve never seen Flight of the Concords, but I hear mention of it all the time, so I gladly accepted the offer of a review copy for my blog. I was in the mood to laugh. I was looking forward to finding a new comedian. Sadly, I did not fall in love with this comedy cd after listening to it late last night. I never once laughed my ass off, as the titled suggested I would.
I feel really bad about having to admit this here, but I am an honest blogger, so I have to share my opinions honestly. I listened to the whole thing, trying to find a mere giggle even. I can’t say anything more, because to do so would be cruel, and I am only cruel to bad tv show stars.
However, you may really love Arj Barker, and maybe you already planned on buying his new comedy CD. I invite you to listen to your own heart on this one. After all, I’m a woman who doesn’t even like chicken or turkey.
